The trio embark on a series of mysterious adventures that take place in and around the big wooden farmhouse and adjoining barn in the seaside town of Tibbodnock. Warner narrates the tales, employing just enough vocal variation to distinguish between the characters. Each story is on a single track of the CD, and the fourth track gives listeners a secret code word and directs them to the Tall Tales Web site (TallTalesAudio.com http://www.talltalesaudio.com/) for one more adventure in which they must complete the story and tell it themselves. The Web site also features tips for children and parents on how to begin their own family storytelling traditions. Warner is a terrific storyteller, and this is a great listen.”
